Rates and Details
Students catch, groom and saddle their own horses. Sessions are 90 minutes long, one class per week minimum, $75. per class, month paid in advance.
 
Proper riding attire consists of comfortable jeans, shirts, boots with heels & leather soles, (no tennis shoes will be allowed).  Helmets are required for riders under 18 years of age and are provided.  Gloves with non-slip palms are recommended. Jewelry, scarves and pets should be left at home.
 
We ask that you respect our "No drop in visitors" policy, and visit the ranch by appointment only.  Always respect the speed limit on the road up the hill and drive slowly on the ranch, as there may be riders crossing the road.
 
The ranch is home to many different animals and forms of wildlife and plants, including, deer, coyote, ground squirrels, Rio Grande turkeys, pheasant, quail, owls, hawks, swallows, snakes, frogs, lizards, newts, bees, goats, cats and miniature horses!
